I was just looking at the history of the festie, saw that the 3rd TBA slot on the Saturday on the Pyramid has been changed to Massive Attack?

Don't know if this is factual though, can't see any updates on the net?

Elvis Costello maybe - would be great but I doubt it after his outburst over his 2005 slot. His tour dates definetly open up the possibility of an appearance.Maybe Saturday 4th on the bill Pyramid and to join Nick Lowe in the acoustic later? Wishful thinking!

21 June 2010 Birmingham - UK Symphony Hall

Elvis Costello (Solo) Buy Tickets

23 June 2010 Oxford - UK New Theatre

Elvis Costello (Solo) Buy Tickets

24 June 2010 Cardiff - UK St Davids Hall

Elvis Costello (Solo) Buy Tickets

28 June 2010 Liverpool - UK Philharmonic Hall

Elvis Costello and The Sugarcanes

Is there not a possibility that they're leaving the Saturday eve TBA's for a potential England World Cup game? Personally, I'm not bothered but it would seem to make sense.

They could have say Coldplay (Fri), Madness (Sat) and Rolf (Sun) lined up to open the stages but then if on the Wednesday England go out, they shuffle them two up to 3rd/4th and e.g. Bootleg beatles and Levellers play second sets to open the Sat/Sun.

(Ignore the names I'm guessing at, they're just example possibilities)

i would excpect robert plant to play one of the pyramid TBA slots along with alison kraus. Big big album with selling out large venues across europe.

I would prefer him to be doing other stuff but wont be too unhappy with this

    • Yeah credit where it's due, that's a really good price to try and help get people in.   Most of my early football games were to see West Brom as my uncles are Baggies. Did a few trips to the Hawthorns, Luton, MK Dons, did most of the London grounds between Championship + Prem.
    • would you be able to post the statement? I can’t seem to find it
    • I worked Wilderness for Oxfam this weekend. I was very lucky as my shift was in the arena on Sunday afternoon & I saw all of Annie's set.   I echo every word. She was brilliant. The Legend slot is made for her.
    • Seeing more stuff about Madonna turning down glasto for three nights in London, what do we reckon? Likelihood looking low now or keep the faith?
    • Do we think there is realistic chance Sziget could get cancelled? I'm reading about Hungarian energy crysis and many measures and prohibitions due to this.    They relesed a statement and comment section is on fire..
