I love how all of this information, bar #5 which you continually blab on about is openly available to everyone, regardless of what sources you have. So it's not really news, it's just a summary of the Interwebz.

I also love that the last time we discussed it, you were adamantly claiming your sources knew that it would be the O2, and not Earl's Court next year. So basically your "sources" (read: guesses) were wrong then...

You don't half tout some rubbish around mate :P

Loving the artwork/promotion for this tour already.

If they keep it up, it will be one hell of an experience.

Imagine walking up to Earl's Court, and seeing banners with the crossed hammers symbol adorning the walls. Shee-it, that would be incredible. I remember being awestruck seeing the DSOTM tour posters hanging outside when I went in 2007.

This is gonna be awesome.

I know but he said it was the worst thing on the internet that he's ever saw and I was curious. Now I know never to trust him with links like that again. This one time he linked me to this website called bouncecup.com. It was extremely horrible but nothing as equal to Pudrid Sex Object. The words mentally scared for life springs to mind.

judyblue on fire today...a bit deserved at times mr tugger. we'll start calling you the "one hit Wonder" until you serve us up another exclusive. (insert smiley face)

odd choice for Los Angeles, in that he bypasses the arena of choice these days which is the new modern Staples Center, but then throws another curve by picking the old LA Forum, instead of the LA Sports Arena which was the site of the opening Wall concerts back in 1980 (i think Floyd did about 7 nights there to open the tour)

for those of us in the NY region, nice to see we have the Garden in October and then can let that soak in a bit for a month, before deciding on cashing up again in November across the river at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

i'm trying to recall why i missed Floyd at Wembley Stadium '88...

Whaddaya know, I was right, Tugger is indeed a bullsh*tter! :P !!

Awesome though. :-D

Tickets seem to be priced from £60-£75. I'm willing to pay this.

I also fully expect more 02 dates to be added (I actually think they mucked up, the first e-mail announcement we got had something like the 14th and 15th in London as well!)

Good luck to all getting tickets, it will be a night to remember!

Awesome, I think I shall most definitely get tickets to this. Saw him at Hard Rock Calling in 2006 when he played DSOTM, was brilliant :P

wow! what an interesting post

i find it intriguing that your initial excitement isnt actually about the tour, but about me - maybe i should be worried :P

i was wrong on the venue, but like you, believe that more dates will follow once the initial 3 have sold out as they will inevitably do.

i dont claim to be a big insider, just when i hear the odd thing here and there from my pals post it up. im happy to wrong, im happy to be right

enjoy the gig pal, i know i will :P

    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
    • Hey guys, is there a group going for any solo y not goers this year?? I couldn’t miss out once I saw the acts but it’s just me and would be great to meet some others:))
    • After deciding to abandon the festival, here's a few of my thoughts (mostly negative tbf).    On the positive side - was it just me or were there a few more urinals than last year? Seemed to help the queues at the loos a bit from what i saw. Plus they had at least had some foresight and had a few more covered areas in the VIP areas.    Now on the negatives.  The weather was admittedly pretty crap but it wasn't apocalyptic. How the actual f**k are bits of the main stage falling off in those conditions?  Then the communication was awful, there's a load of people who left the site because they were told by security guards/other personnel that there would be no more acts on the main stage this evening.  You have an app Primavera, use it! Yes, there's a shitload going on I'm sure but communication with the festivalgoers should be one of the top priorities. You failed.    And I'm not usually somebody who buys into the whole "oh this is hugely unsafe and it's lucky people weren't hurt" narrative, but all the above led to movements of people that were genuinely unsafe.  Evacuating Mordor entirely (again... Why???) and then having a horde of people trying to get in because they thought they were going to Massive Attack was insane.  And given a lot of people basically abandoned ship around 10.30pm the crush at both the exit to the festival and the entrance to the Metro was pretty dangerous.   Conditions happen, most people will get that....but the contingencies have to be better.
    • You'd think that something like bad weather was in the basics of festival planning. After the shitshow of Madrid, you'd think they'd learnt their lesson, apparently not...
    • Same. Shower and back out in a taxi!
