5 more sleepies! Eeek!

The nervousness has been slightly overshadowed by Hubby! He works in the pub trade - All managers have been told absolutely NO time off when England matches are scheduled. IF we get tickets someone is going to have to either a) phone in sick :P scrub the post Glasto tidemarks away really well and keep his gob shut or c) get looking for another job!! Not going if we get tickets is just not an option

D'oh!

Hey guys, im trying for tickets next monday and getting my friends to try for me too but im wondering how it will work

Do you have to put in your postcodes and reg numbers THEN try and get through to the page or do you have to get through to a page THEN put your reg number and postcodes in?

Because if its the first way then surely I cant have friends putting my reg and post codes to help can i ? Will that muck it up?

Right, so the tips I've gathered from this thread:

DON'T refresh the 'busy' page. Refresh the actual link to the sales page.

DO install a Firefox add-on called Check4Change.

DO have more than one machine on - I'm trying with my PC, a laptop and my mobile phone.

Anything else?

Good luck everyone!

If someone you know manages to get through, get them to finish off their own order and KEEP THE WINDOW/TAB OPEN. If they click 'back' they will get through again very, very easily. I did six different orders on T-day last year when nobody else even got past the first page. My phone was running hot for a good couple of hours but hey I am owed a lot of drinks when we arrive on the Wednesday!

From the first page the back button is only useful if you have a large group of people who need tickets i.e. the original sale. The actual amount of tickets is an interesting question, for the happy clappers the line up is being announced before the resale and a 48 extension was added at the end of the deposit scheme. For the glass half full crowd the amount of press about the resale may cause a huge amount of people to want tickets.

But keep trying and keep looking on efestivals for all the best info (I sound like an advert) but it is true. I will be with you on Sunday trying for a couple of friends.

Not sure if that'll work like it usually does. I brought some Reading tickets for my daughter the other day and once I was through I brought 4 then confirmed etc. I hit the back button expecting to be able to buy more and filled in a request for 4 more pressed send but then got a message saying that my order had gone through once already and if I wanted more I had to return to the ticket web page and select Reading tickets again.

Definitely different to how it worked when I brought glasto tickets last Oct.

2 more sleepies! Eeek!

Actually, its just 1 more sleep for me! I'm currently working an extra night shift to accrue festival spending money! If sunday goes tits up, it'll be 'get absolutely hammered' money instead!

My computer has been scanned, the drives cleared of any crap, and hubby has STRICT instructions not to be opening any dodgy porn whilst i'm at work tonight! :P else i'll end up doing it all again tomorrow

Good luck everyone!
