ralph250
Mastodon Bob Plant & Alison Krauss Yeasayer Mark Lanegan Girl Talk Chic Gorillaz Them Crooked Vultures Boards of Canada ...and a newish Irish band called BATS who totally f*cking rule. If I was to suggest an 11th it would have to be the incomperable and utterly delish Kate Bush.
Neon_Ballroom
Haven't seen, so would be cool: 1. Led Zeppelin (again, won't happen but would be great, although not quite as great as Pink Floyd) 2. Pink Floyd (won't happen but would be great) 3. Weezer (played before, but playing Reading/Leeds so probably not back this year) 4. Tool (played before, but sadly doubt they'll play again) Have seen but would still make the festival for me: 5. Silverchair (I could happily spend the whole weekend watching them to be honest. It won't happen though) 6. Pearl Jam (would be amazing but unlikely, an Eddie Vedder solo set would be good though) 7. Metallica with the English Symphony Orchestra (seen them a few times already but the thought of seeing them symphonified in a field as the sun sets sounds good to me) 8. Nine Inch Nails (played before - they were the highlight of 2000 for me, with Bowie a close second - but on their hiatus from touring at the moment) 9. Beastie Boys (played before, would go down well) 10. Jeff Wayne's musical version of the War of the Worlds (a field full of people singing Ulla under a star-filled summer sky... ) Sadly I don't think any of them will be there, but I'll still have a damn good time anyway Edited April 6, 2010 by Neon_Ballroom
pjadnoo
hi everyone. i've been a member here for ages, but not posted in 4-5 years... now that today's thing has died down a little (and fingers crossed to everyone still clicking away for tickets) i thought i'd add my two cents to the wish list: roger waters (although a pf reunion, even without richard wright, would be preferable) the mars volta sigur ros tinariwen belle & sebastian daft punk radiohead edit pixies refused (although the recent reunion rumours have turned out to be nothing ) i know most are unlikely at best, but fingers crossed for just one or two of them - tinariwen would be great, and are doing at least one other european festival around then, and i'm still hoping that pixies april fool turns out to be a cover story...
