on a decent enough slope for no flooding?

This will be my 11th Glasto and yet I just can't picture how slopey it is, probably because I have ALWAYS camped in the top of Pennards.. but this year I am moving on the wind of change... Pennards has gotten too too mental busy and I'd like a tiny bit of room, maybe even a campfire

But I don't want a wet tent floor :-)

NO rain at the G this year.

I camped in Park Home in 98. We were about 15-20 metres above the water line...felt quite smug! Camped there 02-04 and no probs with rain back then...cos there wasnt much, well not really.

It baffles me beyond words how there can still be crime at Glasto given that it is now next to impossible to get in with out a ticket. I mean why go through all the anxious worry on ticket release day (like we all do) and also if you can afford a ticket then I would think that you ain't so poor that you need to go on the rob. really genuinely don't understand it - anyone got any theories of why it still goes on? just kids doing it for the "thrill" maybe?

I was going to come on here and give Park Home a big thumbs up - have camped there the last three years and always liked it.

But then I remembered it was noticeably busier last year (at least in our bit), so I thought, actually, why not tell everyone it's rubbish and to stay away.

Then I realised that wouldn't really be in the Glasto spirit, hence this rather mixed up message. Basically, if you camp there and manage to get a good spot, I think you'll definitely enjoy it.

ive camped there every time ive been since 94

it got stupid busy last year and we were lucky to be all together and pitched by 10am

not quite as nuts as pennards, but still lively enough. and in all the wet years weve never had a problem!!

ive been there so often it feels like home and i can usually camp within a 15 yard radius of where ive camped every year

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
