They've just announced a european tour starting the Sunday of Glasto. I know Damian Marley's played before as part of the Marley brothers so maybe headline Jazzworld? Certainly big enough.

Damian actually headlined Jazzworld that same year as doing the Marley Brothers thing.

It was good (featured Stephen & Julian too), tho I preferred Stephen's set in the Roots Tent myself.

I'm a big Nas fan but I haven't really felt a strong desire to see him live since his live shows have seem lacklustre in the past. However, working with Damien seems to have had a positive effect on him...

As for Damien, I liked what I heard from Welcome to Jamrock but generally I'm not too fond of Reggae. Still it would be good if they were at Glasto!

If they were to headline a stage/tent on the Sunday that really would be some terrible clashes, maybe 2 slots like the Marley brothers did? Would love that.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear in the OP. The first date of their tour is on the Sunday, so they can't play that day.

would be amazing. not unlikely i would have thought. the wailers are also touring this summer, surely they'd be a strong possibility for the jazzworld.

I'd love to see both, the Exodus set in 2007 was my moment of that festival and i'd really like to see Nas, but maybe wouldn't pay to go to one of his own shows. (confusing maybe, but I have stopped going to lots of gigs recently and instead put the money I would spend on a ticket to the gigs I consider into my Glasto fund)
