Obsessed with Glastonbury

I may have to book in at the doctors, I think I have become obsessed with Glastonbury 2010. Does anyone else feel a little obsessed this year?

Do you have any suggestions?

not really. iv kinda lost the excitement for it this year, im still hoping to get a ticket in the resale and il probably perk up if i do get one. thing is i feel as i have to go as its going to be a last for a few mates with babies, people going travelling and stuff. i think im just ready for a year or 2 off and go to some smaller festivals and be more raring than ever to go in 2013.

Been this way since 94 and didnt start going until 95! :P Took a year off a couple of times...once cos I couldnt afford it and the other cos I had had enough at the time...but its creeps back into your life...for better or worse...I am not sure. :P

And now to add to the Glasto obsession...there's the difficulty of the next 103 or 104 days in which ot decide whether to see Stevie Wonder or Orbital...I made the wrong decision last year...dont want to do the same this year :P This is going to weigh on my brain as much as thinking about the fest 24/7 now). Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Everyone on this board is obsessed. It's the light at the end of the tunnel. When the pressure of work, or for some the lack of, gets too great the one consolation is that it's less than 100 days to Glasto where for a week you can leave all the crap behind.

I just hope that work don't ever check my internet record... It'll be nothing but a long list of pages on this forum, refreshed every 5-6 minutes, interspersed with a few other random glastonbury related sites. They would definitely think i'm obsessed!

..and i would have to agree!

The OP should appreciate that there is absolutely no known cure, anywhere in documented science, for Advanced Glastonbury Obsessionitis.

There is actually.

The festival itself. Unfortunately, it only lasts for 5 days, so you've got another 360 days of suffering before the next bout of medicine kicks in. Sometimes, 725 days.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
