Robbie Williams!

Last night me and my friend were lucky enough to attend the Brit Awards Aftershow Party, where we seen Liam Gallagher going mental over Robbie chatting to his mrs. When we spoke to Liam he said that the band will be releasing their new album and they will be touring it this summer, however he only had bad things to say about playing Glastonbury. This werent the case with Robbie though, he spoke to us and had pictures taken for about 10minutes, we asked about gigging and what he had planned and he said he has been asked to played below Stevie Wonder on the sunday!

He had drunk alot that night so he might of been trying to wind us up, but he seemed genuine and enthused to play. What an amazing night i didnt expect to bump into these two personal icons, especially when they were both the main centres of attention at this years party!

If this is true then he'd be good for a bit of a sing a long I guess, would definitely be popular with the locals and get people in the mood for Stevie Wonder.

As long as Faithless and The Flaming Lips play before U2 and Muse respectively I'm happy with whoever does it on Sunday. :P

I'm hopeful that I might have this verified one way or another before the end of today.

Cool. At the risk of losing the HUGE board cred I've gained over the years, I actually have my fingers crossed for this.

Not that far apart. Now, if you were saying the London Philharmonic followed by Anal C**t, I'd agree with you.* :P

Robbie Williams (well, his music) is a guilty pleasure. I'd definitely go and watch him and have a singalong.

*Disclaimer - please be aware that I am not saying RW is anywhere near the talent and genius of SW, nor that I'd look forward to him anywhere near as much!

cant miss the act that has the potential to be the best headliner in the fests history IMHO

going to have work very hard now on timings, and the minimum i was hoping for was something innofensive before stevie so i could have a couple of beers while the sun went down and get ready to boogie

best laid plans........... :P

Before Sir Paul in 2004, the f**king Black Eyed Peas 'played'. I felt the same way as you do now.

I didn't venture near the main stage during BEP's set, but still managed a quality place in the crowd for (IMHO) the best act - let alone headliner - I have ever seen.
