Rain is defo the a dampener (pun intended) and wetwipe baths from day three onwards aren't great (though the discovery of the tipi field sauna/shower has helped with this immensely in recent years.

The worst thing about Glastonbury without a doubt, in my mind, is the numerous dreams through out the year that I some how end up missing most of the festival. This can either be through arriving late, getting lost and ending up outside the fence without my pass or most commonly sleeping through the entire thing. I has me in cold sweats. Although the dreams often also come with wicked acts, fun new venues or in one case the whole festival took place on a giant red and yellow bouncy castle....so its not all bad.

It's got to be the walk back, ok the walk from the car park to the gates is bad enough but like anything if your anticipating something the journey goes quicker, the treck back is awful, especially when its hot, which we all hope it will be!

Feeling like a smelly lazy old tramp next to the hoards of females who have been at themselves with gas hair straighteners and a suitcase of beauty products.

Has any one mentioned the plague of hover poos that descend on Sunday night/Monday morning. Look, I know the toilets are messy and you don't really want to sit down, but how far are you taking aim from to miss the hole so badly? :P

I've never been, but there are loads of things I'm not looking forward to

Bogs (I hope people are joking about the sh*t caked walls :P )

Being hungover in an oven of a tent

Lugging all my stuff about when I get there/go home

I can cope with all that, but I don't want to be bored on my own. I'm quite an independent person in general, but the thought of being in a field, on my tod for 5 days is a bit daunting. Hope people are as friendly as everyone on here seems.

To and from the carparks are sucky.

On the way in everything takes longer than it should and you just want to get pitched and started.

On the way back, you are tired and dirty and just want to get home.

Hem Hem. We're not hungover, we actually get an early night on the sunday cos we have to start work at 7am on the Monday to cover the carparks! :P

Finding stories on the Monday is tricky though, especially when you're knackered from being on site for over a week.

I'm the same as others though, sunday evening's the saddest for me. Come monday i'm usually quite looking forward to a big bath and a bigger steak.
