how can you's lot be excited about this muppet when LEFTFIELD are playing? simple fact is, he is a crap dj always has been always will be , if he cant mix by now he's never going to be able to.

got away with playing the same set for years , throwing on a HARDFLOOR tune at the end of every set. he puts on that fake smile and bouncey pish then forgets the cameras are on him when he turns round and his face is f'kin tripping him.

The stuff he produces is a far cry from what he plays as a DJ , so if hes playing live thats a different story but if he's dj'ing then forget it.

Been reading through the thread, and all the bollocks about FBS just pressing play on his laptop for his set in 2008, what a load of shite !! I can confirm he was using Serato. The only thing that was linked up to his laptop was the visuals. So that certain ones would come on when certain tracks were played.

I do agree that FBS was not at his best in 2008, much like most of the gigs he done last year. However, I have seen him several times since, and he is rocking it. He is now very familiar with Serato, and has become far more techncial with it.

The biggest beef people usually have is that he plays a lot of his old stuff during his sets. Yet when he doesn't do that, people moan about him not playing his old stuff. If he plays one of club sets, then he'll blow everyone away.

He's clean now from the booze, and gets the buzz from the crowd even more now. So I'm sure we'll get something new from him this year. At the end of the day, if you don't like him ?. Don't go to watch him !!. They'll be plenty more on for you to watch.

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
