Yeah, Alan is doing it with Annie Mac this coming Friday from Edinburgh. Going to be a big one for him like. That boy is going to be massive. I was out with him for a few pints a couple of weeks back here in Aberdeen. Top bloke, deserves all the success coming his way. Hopefully see him in the Slam Tent at T this year.

New album out in a few months, not played since 2007 so possibly a good chance.. would love to see a revamped set (seen the 2007/2008 one several times which got a bit repetitive!)

It's not coincidence, these bookings get made by the tour manager and of course they are going to look for several dates around the same time to make it worthwhile.

Especially huge acts that have a lot of production costs associated with them and acts that are travelling from outwith the UK.

Regarding the headliner announcement, I'd be happy with the likes of Faithless, Hot Chip or Primal Scream (unlikely - they're now saying 2010 is a "writing year").

Would be distinctly non-plussed if it's somebody that has played before (especially Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada). We have enough acts on the line-up that have played before.

Definitely think/hope LCD Soundsystem play but can't see them headlining the main stage. Better in a tent IMHO.

But, and I'd be gob-smacked if the organisers pulled it off, I have my fingers, toes and everything crossed for Gorillaz. Would be amazing, and the highlight of the summer.

    • Hezbollah rejected it. Really Israel should get the f**k out, and US and others should support the Lebanese govt in defeating Hezbollah.
