Dress code

Can anyone help me with the Glastonbury dress code?

Whilst obviously not being smart, shirt and tie etc, what is acceptable attire. I was going to play safe and go for smart casual but even smart casual has some ambiguity. For example, I don't want to arrive after a long journey only to be turned away because my shirt doesn't have a collar.

I reckon the best description of "acceptable" is absolutely anything at all other than totally naked TBH :P Naked used to perfectly acceptable as well of course but, sadly, it would appear that this is no longer the case now due to Political Correctness and/or unfounded hysteria stylee issues :P NOT that I would ever consider going naked myself you understand (and you'll no doubt be *very* relieved to hear that !) but I for one have no probs whatsoever if anyone else chooses to do so.

Just beware of having fairy wings that clash horribly with your afro wig and gimp mask wellies and you'll be just fine :P

I do not mean to start a row but the other year I seemed to get a bit peeved by the amount

of people wearing

Blue Jeans

Bergaus Jaclets

Large Rucksacks

All spotlessly clean as they if they had just walked out of Milletts . I remember walking in to the

red flag one afternoon and it was pretty warm , and I thought f**k me am I missing something

here.

Sorry !

What is it with the Under 20s and superhero outfits?

I lost count of how many Robins, Batmans and Bananamen I saw. Get some inspiration folks...its getting boring now.

At one point there was a Bananaman and his many banana'ed up minions surrounding him. :P

I want to own this skirt by Glasto, it is supreme amazingness.

I am also feeling the need to acquire a bumble bee costume and some rather exciting false eyelashes :-)

Actually thinking about it, that thought is highly worrying!

I mean I ain't no prude and know large sex events are held but 170,000 drunk/drugged up, sexually driven, music pumped people in an isolated zone for the best part of a week in all manners of conditions from mud to scorching sun is a recipe for disaster!
