first glastonbury band

Long story as to why my first band was on a Saturday - suffice to say that is when we arrived in 2008. Saw 10 mins of Los Campesinos on the Other Stage en route to Pyramid to see Seasick Steve who was just brilliant. Raw blues and a very funny story about his guitar kicked our first Glasto off in style!

I'm sure it was 'Soundtrack of our lives' in 98 and I'm fairly certain they were on the other stage .....though it could have been the Pyramid stage.....and it could have been another year now I think about it!!

Kangaroo Moon in a tarpaulin covered bender cafe thing full of dreadlocked folks up in the greenfields on the thursday evening of 1997.

Remember it really clearly, as a kid fresh out of boarding school, it kind of changed my life in a way.

what was the first band or artist you saw on friday on your very first visit to glastonbury...ours was The View on the pyramid stage about midday in 2007

only friday and must have made some effort to go to venue.
