I've found out that my company has spent £2k on a training course but only a handfull of people have signed up for it so they are now offering 5 ipods to be won if you agree to go on it. What a f**king waste of money!

I hate the way that brilliant television series get canned because they aren't ratings hits in America, and the series just stops in limbo. I guess we were lucky that Firefly had some closure in Serenity, but other series like Deadwood just seemed to stop, rather than end, and Rome banged in twenty odd years of history in three episodes.

Someone I think/thought of as one of my best friends, getting married without telling me about it. Happy for him/them and all that, but unhappy about finding out the way that I did, as he/they had ample time to tell me.

iTunes and Ipods. It's grade-a shite. The interface is shite. The software is shite. It takes ages to synch. Once it's synched, the library update on my 8 gigipod can take up to twenty minutes. I've got about 5 gig of music on there, hardly a huge library. And then, once it's done it, the library shows every song I've downloaded twice. I got a Wilco album this morning, took three quarters of an hour to get the damn thing onto my ipod. Rubbish.

By way of comparison, it took three minutes to get it onto my sony walkman mp3 player. That has something calleed "drag and drop". Ever heard of f**king drag and drop, Apple?
