Things that annoy you ?

This is the thing. Today I am in bed, completely knackered, can't pee and can't walk. Whilst DLA is not job or means tested, ESA obviously is. I on average, have two appointments a week plus I will be embarking on a full day in hospital every 28 days. But if I am put in the work pool then I will have to attend jobs classes, interviews and retraining, all so I can get back to work. Now given my meds, my disability requirements, and a lot of able-bodied fully sighted peeps all going for the same jobs.... I does not look hopeful.

I need advise.

I agree with RABun.

I'm sat here with clothes, cardi, thick wooly socks, crocs and a dressing gown on, with a hot cup of coffee, with the heating on, because im so cold. im considering to get a blanket to go over my feet.

Leaving a work do early so i can get a good nights sleep and other reasons (see below), and then staying awake until 2:30am arguing with my OH. Priceless!

The other thing that annoyed me is because i joined this project quite late on, i have found it really hard to integrate with people on the project (they are a bit cliquey), something i'm normally quite good at. So feeling like a wall flower at the aforementioned works do. :(

Really needing a wee while on the train and finding that the only two toilets are full of wee and poo. I was in pain by the time i got home from holding it in.

Failing to get Rob Zombie tixs this morning, 2 hours wasted on f**king seetickets & ticketmaster. Hopefully he'll add another London date as I really don't want to spend £70 plus per f**king tix.

nah i would think its more likely to be thin people who get hot and sweaty as they are more likely to move around more. If you're fat you'll move less and slower, therefore sweating less.

While being fat makes your penis look smaller it does not make you hotter. In fact the extra surface area of skin should make cooling easier.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
