Those National Accident Helpline adverts.

"I slipped and fell walking through a reception. I called and got £5,000. Never mind that the poor member of staff who had to answer a phone call during mopping it up got fired, couldn't find a new job, was kicked out of her house along with her two children because she couldn't keep up rent payments, at least I've gotten a holiday!".

People who go on about how splitting with their partner is the best thing they've ever done and how they are so over things because he/she is a total dick/piece of shit etc. etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum.

Either:

a) You're not over it because it's all you talk about

or

:P You are, but there's no guarentee that he/she is and it'd be a lot more respectful to all to handle the situation with a bit of tact and restraint.

I could fill so many pages on this thread, every single thing seems to annoy me. Like automatic doors that have a delay in opening so you have to stand there like a prick waiting for it to open. f**k off!

Plus Fearne Cotton.

Those vaccuum packed plastic-wrap packages that come close to cutting me even after attacking them with scissors. I often cut right through whatever instruction booklet was hidden inside too because of rage.

It's even worse when it comes in Amazon packaging, which is lovely and just unfolds by looking at it, and then something wrapped in shitty death plastic is inside.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
