There's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be an uphill battle Somebody's gonna have to lose Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb, yeah! ampersand
X Factor isn’t really “music” though in the true sense is it? Its product and humiliation. Which isn’t what pop music is about, well not humiliation anyway. Its not even keeping songwriters going anymore, all they do is cover versions. At least in the late 90s when Backstreet Boys/Britney et al were knocking about, they “performed” new songs, written by new songwriters. Even though it was shite. Its not snobbery, its just a poor excuse for entertainment, staining something that is sacred to a lot of people. Simon Cowell said they only reason he got into music was to make money. Once an act fails, which they nearly always do, they're dropped like a bad smell, as Cowell reproduces some other dross. It really amazes me how the show is so popular considering its so sub standard and shallow, shallow as a worms grave. Sad really. As for Cowells opinion on the Rage protest thing: "Why not let the kid have his moment? It's all very Scrooge. It's miserable to put down young talent. We should celebrate it. I am! I’ve had a glass of champagne or two." Thanks Simon, "the kids" record sales go mostly into your pocket, you f**king leech.
Kowalski
and the people buying the xfactor single see it as life and death? hence a protest being called?
