not a massive fan, quite similar all their songs imo, but just stumbled upon a video on the glastonbury site

coldplays the track to it, a clue perhaps? or am i reading too much into it?

personally i think they are a bit too similar to U2, and variation part of what Glatonburys about

Lots of people have been commenting on how they are similar to U2 - I can't see/hear it personally but I suppose everyone is entitled to an opinion!

I think that if the Eavis' ask Chris Martin to do a set it would be a given, esspecially when they are always saying how amazing Glasto and the crowd are etc!!

Personally I would love them to play so I am really hoping all of the rumours I've heard are true!! :P

Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but if I was forced to thrown my hat in the ring I would say yes they are going to play!!!

I hope!! :P

<sits back and awaits pointlessly negative responses, some with failed attempts at humour>

I hope they play. Not seen them since Glastonbury 2005.

I wouldn't see them cause there a current touring band within my budget. (usually to see them in a stadium is £45.00) therefore I will have umpteen amount of oppertunities to see them in the near future. Also it would give me a great oppertunity to go and see something a little different, maybe something on the Jazzworld stage, Maybe something in the worm of Earth wind and fire :P.

Not against them or anything, think there great, but would be elsewhere if they played :P

Fair enough they were great in the 90's but that was some time ago. Having watched the following video I can be sure that I will be elsewhere if they do play. With a headliner of this quality are we witnessing the end of Glastonbury? Whatever next? I shudder to think.

<Sits back and waits for the onslaught, I wonder if Coldplay fans have more of a sense of humour than U2 fans?>

I'd love them to play personally. I think they're brilliant! Ive never seen them live so if they played id definately be there. Thing is that Coldplay are rumoured every year so this year will be like every other so whether they play or not is anyones guess but ive got all my fingers... And toes crossed that they do.
