God,

No Thanks.

They are overated to the max. Amazing when I saw them in 2007 yes. But now they are a crap version of there former selves. I don't see why everyone bums them now, they are the most overated band in britain. If they play, then I will definately be elsewhere. Hopefully watching Pixies on the other stage or Spacemen 3 on John Peel.

Meh, if you want to put on a show like that it has to be choreographed, most big bands do have to have a pretty much standard set list and they changed it up where they could. A pyramid slot would definatly allow them a reason to get back to basics a bit and be a lot less choreographed compared to their tour.

Spacemen3? you're f**king joking what where why how?

yesyesyesyes

are they back together? Saw them a long time ago, huge fan. I noticed mention of it in the coachella thing, but couldn't find any more information.

Extremely Positive thinking and the fact that them and DEVO are rumoured for Coachella next year. Actually considering travelling to the states if this is true and they don't end up playing glasto. Revolution in a hot and sweaty John Peel tent would just be on another level of awesomeness.

can't see it myself, but would be interesting as long as they do some new material. I'm not fussed about old bands reforming and just playing their old stuff, seems slightly cowardly to me.

that said, every time I've seen Spiritualized, the highlights have been the spacemen3 songs

St.Jimmy is right. He's my favourite recording artist, but his show these days isn't headline material. He'd play very much a fan's set and even when he plays the big numbers, a lot of them are reworked to such an extent that the casual fan wouldn't recognise them.
