after seeing tracks starting to leak online Them Crooked Vultures (josh homme- queens of the stone age, dave grohl - foo fighters and john paul jones - led zeppelin) decided to beat the leak and put their entire album up on thei youtube channel for people to listen to.

i've listened to it through and am totally blown away it is amazing (spinning in the dafodils and gunman in particular) and i pray they get to play at glasto next year.

I know that Robert Plant doesn't want to do Led Zeppelin, which is a shame, especially since JPJ will most likely be at Glasto with Them Crooked Vultures.

Listening to the "leak" on youtube right now.

Secret set in The Drag Strip, for sure. In addition to the Pyramid set, of course.

I still think they sound even better live, the interplay with Grohl and the audience was terrific at Reading

and the annoying thing about mp3s is they don't detail the instruments

JPJ was playing some seriously out there basses - and i still don't know what they were

like the one with the flashing light in it - hopefully I'll get the answers on the album sleeve.

it's absolutely amazing, you can tell they put their all into it, three master craftsmen all just pooling their talents and doing something they love.

it's groin thrustingly filthy sexy smutrock!!! :P

can't wait to see them in december.

and hasn't JPJ been using Custom Mansons?

and whilst it's not actually a leak per se, they did stream the entire album about 20 minutes after the first tracks started to leak online and did so with the message "f**k Patients, Lets Dance!"

i was amazed they managed to keep the album from leaking as long as they did as there is only 3 days now until it's official release.

I'm in love with Josh anyway so I was overjoyed when they turned up at Leeds fest, I just stood gazing at them, completely love struck and awe inspired :P Pre-ordered the album already so I can't wait to have it in my grubby grasp, it will be my driving album for the next couple of months I reckon :P

I'm loving the album and really looking forward to seeing them in December.

Hoping that if they play it means at least one of the "other bands" play, all 4 would be sensational (could even add Eagles of Death Metal in there :P if you really wanted to push the boat out).

      Kinda sounds like we’re heading towards Fender, Fontaines & Harry however I can’t see them not getting a female headliner so think it’ll be Fender or Fontaines and another. They’ll obviously try for Madonna but they’ve also tried before, really depends on whether she’s bothered about it.
