I still find some of the tracks pretty decent - tho they were the first band I grew up listening to, so maybe a bit of nostalgia from me.

Saw them recently in London as a surprise treat from my other half. They put a lot of energy and modesty into it and it was great, actually.

I was about 7 when Real Gone Kid and Dignity were flying high in the charts, always assosiate them and Simply Red with what we used to listen to in my Dads Ford Escort XR3i at the time

Would be good for a nostalgic sing-a-long but I don't think I could do it at the expense of The Chemical Brothers.

My kids want to go see coldplay (no taste!), Deacon blue were the first band I ever saw live and I am aiming to enjoy my first headline set at the acoustic tent in all these years. Like someone else said, this is a band that have associations in my life, for that reason I see them as the best headliner for me on saturday.

weird what fests do to you.

they're headling bella which i'm going to and i think it's an awful choice for headliners of that medium festival. yet, looking at the clashfinder, i may have gone to see them had i been going to glastonbury. despite a band like coldplay playing, who i'd definitely see at bella and would be an amazing headliner choice.

I would be in heaven if they played raintown from start to finish! They have in the past note for note.

For me Coldplay have been given the cold shoulder...

I'm sad that last years excellent Mcintosh Ross set was largely ignored - some great tunes as well

albeit with no DB stuff - so I will be there

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
