Deffinitely. I reckon any of these lot would go down very well but I'm wondering how many of them would realistically play.

Rolling Stones - Give them enough £

Pink Floyd - I bloody wish.

Zeppelin - Very doubtful but they could do it for a one off like a few years back assuming Plant is up for it.

Prince - Headlined Coachella a year or two back but he'd probably ask for far too much money.

The Smiths - Maybe a chance of a Morrissey and Marr team up but Rourke and Joyce wouldn't be invited.

Bowie - He'd be brilliant assuming his health problems are sorted.

U2 - Bono apparently said he's up for it, would be a pretty major catch for Eavis.

Dylan - Probably nailed on but would he headline?.

Macca - Touring again, could finish up in Somerset but last played not that long ago.

Stevie Wonder - Would be absolutely amazing but does he even play festivals?

The Cure - Possibility, joint headliners as someone on here mentioned would be good.

Then you've got some major acts that are pretty legendary and would be up for it but are extremely unlikely.

AC/DC - Could be possible if they don't play stadiums/Reading etc get them. I'd say Eavis would consider them too heavy though.

Maiden/Metallica - Same as AC/DC really but Maiden in particular would put on a show.

I think they will headline the other stage along with Daft Punk and Radiohead because im guessing the pyramid is gonna have a stupidly huge lineup with the likes of U2, Rolling stones and AC/DC

    • Not my experience. I've always got the size I paid for.
    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.
