Well I can see -

Friday Main - Green Day / Blink182.

Friday NME - Paramore / Avenged Sevenfold.

Saturday Main - MUSE.

Saturday NME - NME pop band, or maybe Klaxons?

Sunday Main - Iron Maiden / System Of A Down / Slipknot.

Sunday NME - Anything big to divert fans.

Yeah, wishful thinking but whatever, could happen.

There's no way in hell Kasabian will be third down the bill. Kasabian are bigger now in the UK than Blink, The Offspring or Slipknot ever were/have been.

Debatable, i guess it depends which circles you travel in.

But i would put money on Blink headlining selling more tickets than Kasabian headlining.

Definately. Blink are a much bigger draw than Kasabian right now. Absense makes the heart grow fonder and all that.

All the people hoping for Green Day, Muse, Libertines, Foos etc, that's such a boring festival! They're always around, let's try something a bit different? Radiohead were perfect this year, the other 2, meh. Why not hope for FR to book some bands who don't do festivals every year, I'm getting bored of this group of bands.

Their last R/L was 6 years ago, last UK festival was 5 years ago

As for Muse and Foos, as much as I love them I agree they play festivals way too often

If you look at my first few posts they're pretty much all Green Day-related I've been waiting ages for them to come back over.

dont know the answer to this to be honest.

but are tool big enough to headline a major festival? I know they headlined download a few years ago when it was trying to there foot on the major festival circuit.
