The only ones which are a dead cert on that list are Bodger and Badger. I will happily wager that none of the others will make an appearance...

Fatboy plays every single year - and as this year got to prove, he even plays when just about no one thinks he will.

So if Fatboy ain't there next year, I might just eat my socks. :)

erm.... no I'm not! What ME wants and what he gets (or something) are pretty far removed from one another!

while that's true, I know that there's been convos with the foos for quite a while (over a year) about them perhaps headlining, and that Glastonbury is somewhere that Grohl loves to play. However, with them having taken a while off, they might choose to go for the big money which will undoubtably be on offer to them from elsewhere (which is likely to rule them out of Glasto if they do).

As for Bob Dylan, Eavis has already told people that he'll be playing next year - so I'd guess that there's a tentative agreement (if not a concrete agreement) that he will. Sometimes things arranged this early come together and sometimes they don't.

My unexplained point was that if Franz do the obvious 'secret' gig in 2008 then headline the Other Stage this year, & with Klaxons having an album out surely before Glasto 2010, I'm following the same logic for Klaxons 09 to 10.

This is true. Mine's pure conjecture.

For informed rumours I'm surprised you didn;t paste efest's Glasto 2010 rumours link.

Similarly Billy Bragg it would seem. Managed to play this year somehow didn;t he, even though not listed anywhere?

Finally, Staberinde, if we're doing conjecture do you want to make your info more public? :)

The Foo's are on my list of

Along with The Killers and a new entry KOL !

Are they? There's nothing on the Led Zeppelin website about that, and after they failed to identify a replacement singer for Plant they decided not to bother with the project. Even if they had identified a replacement singer, they were saying they wouldn't be using the Led Zeppelin name.

the smiths would be absolutely amazing but i just cant see it happening with the way morrissey and johnny marr feel about each other and marr is pretty busy ruining the cribs at the moment, i wouldnt be suprised if morrissey makes an appearance second on the pyramid on sunday night in the same slot as Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen had would be pretty good, when the sun sets on the festival
