Storm_NL
Just for fun... it's the Musical Supergroups game!!! Let's pool our time-wasting resources, and cobble together a "supergroup" to headline the Pyramid in 2010! Drop one member, and replace him/her with a choice of your own. Only four rules; One replacement per postNo consecutive postingNo re-recruiting membersNo clones or duplicates Let's see what kind of hideous monstrosity we end up with when the music stops... Starting line-up; Vocals - Sandra Nasic (Guano Apes) Guitar - Jack White (White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather) Bass Guitar - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Keyboard - Keith Emerson (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer) Drums - Rick Allen (Def Leppard) The stage is yours... dieweener
Dunno who the hell Sandra Nasic is so will leave her alone. Will go with this one: Vocals - Sandra Nasic (Guano Apes) Guitar - Jack White (White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather) Bass Guitar - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Keyboard - Jamie Cullum (Seeing him play with Spinal Tapconvinced me he'd be awesome in a band on keyboards) Drums - Rick Allen (Def Leppard) Edited July 16, 2009 by dieweener
FunkyDenz
Not going to change a current member, but, since this is a super group, we need some additional members, at least for some of the songs. First member. Kenny G - Sax (you can't beat a bit of sax)

Easily the best player I ever saw live, and I've seen many, many. Not the fastest, or loudest, but more feeling in one note than most people get into a whole song. Never happen, though....R.I.P. The Nal
I'm sorry - to recap - at this stage our supergroup contains a vocalist hardly anyone knows, a dead Irish man, a bass player whose music has been described as "music for children" by the festival organiser, a comedian on keys, a made-up television puppet on drums, a jazz saxophonist and Rolf Harris. It's hardly the Travelling Wilburies is it?
