Magic Numbers in the Queen's Head

I've wanted to see The Magic Numbers for a few years, but never got round to it.

They were totally amazing in the Queen's Head on Sunday night. Only played for 40 minutes, but the crowd loved every second of it. I guess you had to be pretty dedicated to miss out on the other big acts (Blur were on the Pyramid), so that probably helped the atmosphere.

Ranked as the highlight of my festival alongside The Gaslight Anthem.

saw them on the monday(?) before glasto, and it was their first live gig in ages. was stunning, and their new songs are pretty good too. Glad they managed to get a good gig at glasto too

Yeah, I was there. Saw the v good Bombay Bicycle Club first as a warm up, and a chance to get to the front. Fantastic atmosphere and they seemed to have a great time too. And a marriage proposal in the middle - not seen that before.

Have to say they were prob the best band I saw all weekend.

They are not my favourite band , but I have seen em a few times , and I have to say they totally

rocked it.

I even liked the new stuff !

They just seem really suited to that venue and the screens etc were amazing !!!

I think I spoke to the lead singer when I was at the Bandstand. Asked me how to get to the Queens Head. Looked like him, short, furry, teddy bear like with a beaver like smile? Sweet chap.

An amazing set - a real highlight of the festival for me too
