Apparently Steve Lamaq confirmed on his show the other day, but didn't say which day.

It's not gospel but this soon to the event, it's a good bet they will be I'd say. Plus Jack White loves Glasto and is in the country at the right times.

I'm just hoping it is The Dead Weather only on Friday second slot, as if the big surprise happened to be The White Stripes playing there on the Saturday I'd be in two minds between them and the Boss but probably have to sacrifice, as you'd guess they'd play again whereas the Boss won't.

Kerrang published an assosciated press story stating that a "huge band" were playing a surprise set at The Park on Saturday at about 7/8ish.

Everyone thought, oooh Kerrang are covering it, it must be Muse or Metallica!

Someone on here made up the "band beginning with M" thing.

Kerrang just published an AP story. Them being a "rawk" magazine bears no significance.

The Special Guest is probably just Klaxons. Emily probably reckons theyre massive.
