Yeah, they seem kinda 'wrong' don't they. Over the years there's been a slow move towards what would've been considered 'credible' bands getting merged with teenybop cobblers like this - I think we're supposed to see it all as 'entertainment' these days. X Factor types are talked about in the same breath as .... other people.

I prefer loving some people and hating others. It's how I was brought up, musically speaking ;-)

Main stage!?!? What a f**king joke...awaits a multitude of replies stating that 'it doesn't matter if McFly, Katherine Jenkins, N Dubs, Lemar, whoever's on, I'll still have a good time with my mates'.

Shit

I've got 2 weekend camping V tickets & 1 weekend camping Leeds. Always go to V with the missus but if I can get near face value for my V ticket I might try & get another Leeds and do that instead?

On a slightly different note, what do you think the crowd will be like this year?

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
