I think the PDF idea is a great one.

I think people slightly misunderstand my reasoning for wanting the programme prior to the event.

It's not for the timetable.

It's more for the summary of the bands, acts and artistes playing. So that I look into assess and who's playing. Especially thehuge list of bands I've never heard of.

Although in the last few years the programme has been a lot more style than content. In the past the programme had at least a paragraph on each of the main bands/artists appearing. Now often they'll include only a sentence for some of the bands.

I just think it's a way of informing your audience of what delights you've laid before them.

Remember the programme is included with your ticket. If you want an extra or even lost yours and want it replaced - it's £10.

I disagree. I love reading the program with my first few tins of the day, or cider in the sun around the jazz stage. One of the greatest moments in life.

I love the idea of a PDF available to download a week or so before the festival, would be a great way to check out new bands, If people print them out and lose them they'd still have to pay for a new one at the festival itself so no-one looses, i honestly cant see people printing out hundreds and selling them at a cut price, they simply wouldnt get in.

Yeah its free but if you lose it and want a replacement it costs a tenner.

You get a programme, neck timetable thing, bag and potato tent pegs.

Question: If you buy the Q Magazine with the programme in it, do they include the stage times? Or is that something which its completely impossible to find out before you arrive at the festy?

Even if you lose it though, you can get replacement lanyard guides for free from the info points.

I saw boxes of spare ones at the info point by the other stage last year on the saturday. Don't really think it's an issue. Isn't there a listing also in the Glastonbury Times paper thing too?

On the original point of getting the programme early, I'm not bothered. It'll cost more in postage.

On the right they have a thing called 'my schedule', which I think is a really good idea.
