I did.

Haven't listened to them in years but the first album used to get regular plays, didn't actually know they were still around.

I'm a relative latecomer to this Glastonbury thing, I was an avid viewer of the coverage but must admit to, when weighing up the possibility of mud versus the pleasure of watching, I wussed out. I admit it and hang my head in shame. About a month before last year's Glastonbury my missus came back from a Bluetones gig and drunkenly decided that she wanted to go to Glastonbury as Mark Morris had announced that they'd be playing. I'd never been into The Bluetones (yes I am certainly old enough to remember them from the first time round), so, as far as this thread is concerned, am 0/2 thus far. However since then I've been to Glastonbury (and loved it - 2009 'til I die ;) ), seen the Bluetones whilst there and once more. They really put on a good show and I'd be more than happy to see them there again.

So, in summary, yes please with sugar and icing on top!

The first time I saw the Bluetones was in Rothes Halls in Glenrothes in 1995! It's impressive that they're still going. Saw them play Expecting to Fly from start to finish at QMU in Glasgow not long ago. Was superb...and they played Marblehead Johnson! Good festival band, think I'll go watch them. Not listened to much after the first 2 albums though.

    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way.
