wghennessy
http://www.punktastic.com/forums/viewtopic...&start=1050 "Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon and AC/DC are what I've been told are headliners. But that's not 100% and could be wrong. Fall Out Boy, Blink 182 and Lostprophets are also on the same announcement, don't know which dates. As I said, it is probably totally wrong." wghennessy
Except earlier this year when he announced it was Green day, Arctic Monkeys and AC/DC. Also, he sounds about as sure as f**k. I hope to God he's wrong. Radiohead >>> AC/DC.

nin18
Yes but am I not right in thinking Green Day were a sure bet at one point ? Also I have read on the same forum that Jo Whiley has announced Radiohead are NOT playing. haha

Lithium05
AC/DC and Blink would 100% reaffirm my faith in Reading Festival. Whilst I like Radiohead alongside the other acts they look undeniably poor to people like myself, who would watch them, but wouldn't exactly call themselves fans. On the other hand it's probably all a big Radio 1 double bluff and Radiohead are the third headliners.
eFestivals
Well we will see but for as long as i have checked punktastic before Leeds.. he has always been right. yeah, like Punktastic was right when they said it was definitely Green Day, KOL, & AC/DC in /index.php?showtopic=113746&st=0&start=0">this thread. Puntastic has already been proven wrong about this year.
Role Model
I'd be gutted if Radiohead weren't playing, and it was indeed AC/DC, god that would be bad.
thetime
radiohead are my all time favorite band, so im keeping faith with the current favorites on this site.
tomisnothere
sorry to bug you again neil but this begs the question: ac/dc - likely or unlikely?
eFestivals
sorry to bug you again neil but this begs the question: ac/dc - likely or unlikely? I believe that they're not playing. But I don't know for certain.

Role Model
I don't believe the Blink thing for a second, I'll just crawl up into a little ball and go to sleep if they played Edited March 30, 2009 by Role Model
Xinas
Just to clarify, Punktastic DID NOT say that was official. Paul, who owns it was stating the bands he was told were playing, but also said he was 90% sure they weren't true. He has stated that if he receives official info it will go on the main page before it goes in that thread.
batman_23
i reckon blink are the "very special guests" becuase the owner of the festivals said they had a exclusive pop punk band playing and that is what they are!
