Why would there be an announcement? They've only been banging on about an imminant announcement for nearly week! ;)

Dl and reading might have shite line ups but at least they've announced the main stay of who is playing without keeping the punters in the dark!!

I also find the whole thing odd with them announcing all the bands for one day and next to nothing on the other. Very unorthadox. Smells to me like they haven't got the acts booked and are only now trying to fill the line up!

Just a thought. Announce the full line up and you might sell some tickets! :P

Reading and leeds is further away and the ticket buyer know more about who is playing there than sonisphere. I thought it was fairly normal to announce the top acts for each day. You know, to sell tickets.

That is true enough, however announcing one full day and leaving one day pretty empty is pretty weird. Also, most festivals sell out in the first few days by announcing the strongest acts first (say top 3 bands on each day)

Announcement being prepped on the 24th. Nothing since. It’s teadious and it's getting boring!! the hype surrounding this festival has all but disappeared after the nin announcement as a result in the long gap and no leaks.

    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.

    • It'd be new album stuff if it were to happen I think.  First 2027 headliner in the bag also?
