Next announcement wisk list

The first announcement was fairly safe and the headliners had been known for months, but there is little on the rumour mill about the next wave of announcements, and Ihave no doubt the next lot will be to.

Based upon history I would expect to see either Basement Jaxx or Groove Armada as they have to have a dance band as headliner on one of the stages each night and lets face it they are part of the V furniture, less likely but equally appropriate Underworld

Wouldn't be surprised if Human League or Ultravox appeared in the Arena.

I can't beleive that Keane will headline so lets hope its Blur versus Oasis and we all know who will pull the biggest crowd.

I would expect Placebo and Franz Ferdinand to play on either the main stage or Channel 4.

Lets hope that the organisers are a little more adventurous this and go outside their comfort zone and get bands like Flogging Molly, Skindred and The Datsuns

Im hoping they announce

Doves

Mystrey Jets

Shed 7

Primal Scream

Redlight Company

I can see Supergrass being announced soon, hoping for someone like Feeder too but not breath holding?

Anyone got the details of last years second announcement to give a bit of context to what we might be able to expect?

Madness would be awesome, did Madstock one year and it was the craziest gig I have ever been too! People in Fez or Baggy Trousers bouncing up and down on the tube

Anyone else want Weezer to turn up? I think they would be awesome.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
