they'll be playing.

from experience, for neil (efestivals) to put a band at tbc status, when his source is from a contact (and not from a self confirmation via myspace for instance), then it pretty much means it's guaranteed.

efestivals is very rarely wrong when something's at tbc status,

I think they'll play, they could even be the rumoured 4th headliner. Along with Coldplay, Blur and the Boss.

NY looks to be out now, no way will he play 3 headliner sets, in 3 different parts of the country, for 3 nights in a row.

IOW isn't the same weekend, and he's not been confirmed for hyde park yet; which maybe in doubt if a "exclusive fesival headliner" clause is in the IOW contract (and not made up to shift tickets); will depend on if hard rock calling counts as a festival or concert.

Still a definite chance that Young could play glasto.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
