Scientific fact. Anyone that waves a flag and blocks the view for 100,000 people is a total douche and should have their flag shoved in an uncomfortable place.

What ? Are you on the same planet as us Bort? Talk about weird science. How do you apply the laws of physics ? A flag that could hide the view of a stage from 100.000 people would have to be at least the size of the stage and it's awning !

How do you come to conclude it is a "Scientific fact" ?

:);):P

heh, I know my reply is over reacting, but it's just put a smile on my face.

Relax Bort, I do know what you mean - people that wave their flags in a crowd watching a band - can be a right pain, but this thread is more about the static flags on poles by peoples tents to guide people back and to just generally lend to the already fantastic atmosphere. :(

Loving the old-skool flag thread! Them were the days...

Starting to think about my flag theme for this year. I swear to God, it brings me out in goosebumps! I think I'm sad! :)

im not a fan of flags in front of the stage, but i really want to make a flag for my base.

As its easter and i have loads of spare time im going to get it made!

i already know the design i want, i just need to get hold of a plain white flag and a teloscopic pole.

I'll post my invention on here in the next 2 weeks :(

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
