I agree, all this weather checking is B*llox.

Have a look 2 days before you set off and they might have an incline. But even then they will probably get it wrong.

IMO we will have a bit of rain, lots of sun, and it will be cloudy at times. Take your waterproofs but it will be mostly nice and warm with occasional chilly winds.

There that covers it.

I've been checking the weather in Brighton for this Saturday, as I have an outdoor family thing to go to - for the past week most of the weather websites I go to have been saying it'll be wall-to-wall sunshine, but today all of a sudden its gonna piss it down. I'll check it again tomorrow and it'll probably be sunny again.

The rather weak moral being that we have such a weird climate that its nigh on impossible to predict whats afoot for more than 1 or 2 days. Unless some massive ridge of high (or low) pressure is sitting on us for weeks (unlikely) then the weather in 2 weeks time could be absolutely anything.

But such wisdom won't stop me obsessively checking this thread and Metcheck, BBC, Netweather etc etc etc. ;)

Based on nothing more than a feeling, intuition, gut instinct, whatever, I'm massively confident it will be fine this year. As long as its dry then I will be elated. If its anything like 2007 then I will start self harming or throwing myself into the longdrops or something.

I used accuweather when I went to Germany last year, and it was pretty much, well, accurate weather - particularly the realfeel thing. *

* Until it starts showing it as raining, then it is incredibly inaccurate.
