Thats says Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What a massive sweaty ballache. Its bloody burning hot summer for every day apart from the ones we want. The whole thing is cursed I tells ya!

I am still clinging onto the hope that the rains will miss us though. And if they do hopefully it will just scoot past us quickly and then dry up sharpish.

But, who am I kidding? It's gonna f**k it down for Friday and Saturday and we will be in a sticky quadmire AGAIN! is it too much to ask for it to just not rain for 3 days?

How stupid is that - the graphical map contradicts the general 5 days forecast.

Tantalizingly the graphical has the rain just missing Glastonbury on each slide.

Come on God, you know it makes sense! :D

BBC TV forecast at 1.30pm not quite so bad as last night. scatterred thunderstorms on Fri - Glastonbury may or may not cop one, it said. the rest of the weekend should be ok, it said. this is my last bit of weather input...i is off to the fest later today...with wellies *and* suntan lotion :-) and begging the new high that will form over to south to get a shifty and squeeze out those storms.

Looks like Netweather have updated their forecast following the 06Hz run:

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=uk7dayx2

Now they seem to be suggesting that there will be r**n tonight. I am sure I've not seen that forecast before. Tomorrow has light r**n on and off all day and then there is some heavy r**n (5mm) forecast for Friday evening. Saturday seems to have improved, but with 'moderate' (3mm) r**n throughout the day though. Sunday pretty much the same as Saturday.

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
