How much booze you aloud to take to glasto?

My mates are on about bringing 16 crates, I said its a bit over the top and national express wont even let them on the coach but they wont listen haha

So are there any limits?

As much as you want as long as it's for personal consumption. I usually take two 24 crates and at least a bottle of Southern Comfort, does me fine along with a few pints at bars over the weekend. If they think you are bringing too much booze, ie to sell it, they may take it off you.

ive never taken the coach but thats a lot of booze to carry

i always take a bottle of tequila, rum & scotch & 1 crate of lager. easier to carry!!

take spirits (last year 4 or 5 litres vodka, 1 whiskey, 1 rum) buy beer/cider there

No limits on amount, you just cant take glass.

and the site is a huge, rugged (farm like, some would say) landscape - if you've never been before it is very easy to underestimate the sheer hugeness of it and carrying stuff to whatever campsite you chose will be a right old pain in the donkey!

We camped outside the john peel tent last year and thought it was quiet handy for getting round to stages ect not that far of a walk from the coach station if i remember

Think its something like 384 cans if my maths correct think im gonna have to persuade them out of this one!!!

4 boxes of Westons

1 slab of Carlsburg

2 Boxes of Red wine

1 bottle of port

2 bottles of Vodka

1 bottle of SC

Tonic and Lemonade

I use a trolley so its not a problem.

It has to be said looking at that I am a piss head.

Yh i wont be drinking too much hate it when you need the tolet after you've just got a good spot in the crowd!!

No idea how were gonna carry it my main worrie is being turned away from the coach because of how much weight were bringing

Not quite on the same scale but we built a "can-delier" in 2007

if lagers your tipple then bring your own... flat carlsberg in a floppy paper cup aint nice and spills far too easily, after the first couple of tins you dont mind it being slightly warm. i bring a couple of bottles of brandy for coffees in the morning and late at night when its nippy and a twenty four tin slab for each day and just nip out to the car every couple of days to restock, saves a fortune over the week
