re the Meatloaf comparisons.. Meatloaf was concieved as a bit of a tongue-in cheek take on Springsteen, so it's hardly surprising there are similarities...

but if anyone can't tell much difference between Bruce and Meatloaf, Huey Lewis ( ) or Bon Jovi, then they're quite obviously listening with a very shoddy substitute for a pair of ears

I'd bet Bruce won't play more than 2 songs from the 'USA' album. Me senses lots of BTR and Darkness material in a festival set. To be honest, he could walk on stage, play Rosalita, Jungleland and Incident then go off and I'd be happy

Well, i dont deny he had a massive role to play for the success of the Band. But it depends whether you like the Animals/Wall era Floyd, or the Meddle/WYWH/DSOTM era floyd. Personally i prefer the latter, when Gilmour, and the rest of the band had a greater influence.
