I am afraid the only sure bet would be Koblenz. Why do you want to avoid it?

I'll google for it later, but I would not keep my hopes to high that you'll be able to find some store. Maybe posting the question at Ringrocker.com may give you more answers, some people live in the area.

Hi Squig, I want to drive straight from Hahn airport to the festival site, so I'd rather avoid Koblenz as it would be quite a big detour. I would also anticipate heavier traffic if driving from Koblenz to RAR than if driving direct from Hahn to RAR. Would I be right?

I'll try Ringrocker.com.

Thanks Squig!

Hi. I'm new here and I'm looking for some help/advice!

i'm flying to Hahn from Dublin and renting a car. I need to pick up some camping gear along the way, does anyone know of a camping store on the way to Nurburg from Hahn? (I want to avoid koblenz if possible)

Cheers!

Ok folks, i've had to make the call to choose Friday/Satday over Satday/Sunday. Judging by previous years i reckon that'd be the safest bet. Looks like a bigger night on the friday.

Any thoughts to the contrary??

Friday certainly goes on longer, so there are more bands playing. The previous years the German headliner also always performed on sunday, since there are only international ones this year as far as I know that won't mean a thing this year, though.
