Still a dumbed down adaptation of an exellent subject. Though once adapted it was rather well delivered.

Also, I've just realised that Worm (or Cultseeker) had a Star Wars character from Episode One as his avatar. And has quoted stuff from the Episode Three before now.

We've had fair bit recently and some of it's not been great (adapted poorly? not read any dick but my old flatmate read loads.)...

Scanner darkly (not bad)

Next starring nicholas cage (not seen it, it had nicholas cage)

payback (not great, ben affleck & directed by woo and not "the killer" good woo, but american "bad" woo)

minority report (I enjoyed it and thought it was quite excellent when I first watched it)

they're doing a life story aswell I think with paul giamatti as the lead.

Went to see Changeling last night. Woah that is a deep film. Really enjoyed it though but it is one of those epic dramas which makes you feel all funny inside (my gosh that sounds gay).

I recommend!

haven't seen a scanner darkly, but i thought payback (paycheck?) was ok.

minority report had it's moments and is worth a revisit every now and again.

next is awful though, although jessica biel makes it a bit easier to watch.

agreed. costner is outstanding in this.

In fact I have posted on this very thread the same sentiments about the same two films.

started to watch ghost town the other night - a bit funny in places, but we were both knackered with about 40 minutes to go, and went to bed. dunno if I can be arsed finishing it off. I hate rom coms, but love gervais - oh the dilemma.
