finally watched no country for old men on saturday night. i love it, but i thought it was going to be a lot more violent and

what the f**k was that ending? very disappointing.

i enjoyed it but doubt i'll feel the need to watch it again.

also watched a room for romeo brass which is a brilliant film, but the description on the dvd box makes it sound so much darker than it really is.

No Country For Old Men is brilliant. I don't buy into what was just said it being lame covered by it being a coen brothers film, seeing as how i've never seen any of their work before. (i've got the big lebowski to watch, and burn after reading).

Watched Ironman again yesterday, really good for it being a not so dark comic book film. Downey Jr is excellent, hopefully he'll excel himself as Sherlock Holmes as he's done here and in Tropic Thunder, where he stole the show... not that there was much to steal mind. B)

Me and the Mrs watched that for the first time on Friday night. I was very pleasantly surprised - one of the better super hero films IMHO - much better than the Hulk/Spiderman/Superman fiascos.

Still not a patch on Batman though B) . (As in all the Batman films except Batman Forever and Batman & Robin).

Could somebody make clear the following...

At the end of The Incredible Hulk the Tony Stark character turns up in the bar propositioning Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross.

Is this before or after Tony Stark becomes Iron Man?

I seen The Departed for the first time last week and really enjoyed it :)

I have high hopes for the proposed Avengers movie. Incredible Hulk and Iron Man were both great IMHO and I think Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger (set in WWII no less! :)) and, yes, even Ant Man will be good film setting up a cracking Avengers flick.

B):):D:)

That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen!!!

I of course meant the Tim Burton films, and the Christian Bale ones.

Though you can't beat a bit of camp 60's Batman.

have you seen "infernal affairs" aswell? well worth a watch. A mate of mine refuses to watch "the departed" on account of it being a remake, but I think scorsese adapts it enough, through the dialogue to make it it's own film.

Both excellent anyways. I need to get the sequels to infernal affairs sometime.

..otherwise watched "zack and miri make a porno" last night. Twas fun.

Saw Slumdog Millionaire on Saturday and loved it, one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Found it really uplifting and but it was also quite shocking seeing how life in the slums can be for kids, although you know it goes on you never really think about it. The young kids in it really stole the show for me - they were great. Highly recommend going to see it!

I watched Blindness last night - I quite enjoyed it though it seems to be being panned elsewhere. Give it a go though!

Slumdog Millionaire wa EXCELLENT! Danny Boyle is an excellent director and the film looks, sounds and feels great. I loved it!

Going to watch Che part 1 later - loads of films out at the moment!
