I watched Burn After Reading today. I really liked it. Brad Pitt is an excellent actor.

watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind last night. top film. jim carey is a well good actor.

very confusing though.

Saw V. Not as good as the first one, but the others weren't either (I haven't seen IV mind ;) ).

One thing (probably of many).

On the last challenge with the 10 arm holes, they clocked what they were supposed to do before shutting the door. Why didn't they get the woman out the bath and use her blood?

Watched Une femme est une femme on tuesday night. Took a wee bit of getting used to the sound and some of the editing, but I actually quite enjoyed it. Might go and look out Breathless and see if thats any good too.

Also watched The Hudsucker Proxy. Gotta say I enjoyed this too. Paul Newman was pretty damn good and Tim Robbins didnt do too bad a job either. And its not just "you know, for kids" ;)

    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
