In Bruges is an excellent film, love it.

Went to see 'What Just Happened' two nights back at a preview. Really disappointed with it.

Steaming in at a big fat 8/10 on IMDB after nearly a thousand votes when i checked yesterday.

I think the whole irony of the film passed me by, or at least it didn't capture me.

Bruce Willis was excellent as 'himself' though.

'Burn After Reading'. Not their best, but still good. Didn't enjoy it as much as the guy a couple of rows back from me tho. He started laughing sometime around the scene where Brad Pitt makes the phone call, and didn't stop for the rest of the film. I think he laughed at pretty much every line after that. Was weird. Didn't help he had a loud, slightly odd laugh. Think by the end everyone was laughing at him not the film

...hmm, people talking bout in Bruges above, i completely agree with Katster...that scene was stupid, ruined it...mostly good, if not slightly boring u till the bit where Finnes comes into the film...

I watched The Decent for the first time yesterday...excellent, thought it was a great setting for a horror film, and the ending was brilliant.

Really liked how it always seems like there is no hope for them...but she didn't need to axe her mate in the leg at the end...in the grand scheme of things that was completely uncalled for...she didn't mean to stab her mate in the neck

"I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!" - Robocop

"No ticket!" - Indy

"It's true, this man has no dick" - Ghostbusters

"Leeloo Dallas multipass!" - Fifth Element

My fave: "Put the cookie down! Now!" Arnie in Jingle All The Way - his finest film.

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get f**ked by dicks. But dicks also f**k assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can f**k an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they f**k too much or f**k when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us f**k this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
