  1. There's an hour changeover between Lewis and Lizzo as well. I don't think it necessarily means anything.
  2. Less novelty one-off factor than Pulp to merit it at this particular time, IMO. Though looking closely, there might just be a typo with the times anyway.
  3. Foos would not get a longer set time than Lizzo. Jarvis will not let us down. I believe!
  4. Off topic but I saw Kate Moss on the side of multipacks of Diet Coke today and it gave me a wry laugh.
  5. Bought new walking shoes and a straw hat. And Gorilla glue in case the shoes decide to part ways with the sole like last year*. *A delightful efester saved me with Gorilla glue on the Thur morning and those shoes are still decent enough to walk the dog. That stuff is awesome. If anyone gets in a pickle onsite this year and needs some, hit me up so I can pay it forward.
  6. Pick up and bin some litter that's not yours. (None of it should be yours!)
  7. My mate lost the car keys while partying too hard. They never turned up, despite her repeated visits to lost property and trying to retrace the steps she remembered, asking anyone and everyone at stalls etc. Leaving on the Monday was a massively expensive AA new key nightmare.
  8. If you need a sensory break, The Woods and the Green Fields are your best bet. The area around West Holts and Greenpeace is great for hanging out (good food options in the area too) and just absorbing. Wash your hands (with soap) and fill your water bottle at every opportunity. Go to the Ridge and Furrow meet on Wed. Hobo Jones at Avalon on Fri lunchtime is an excellent way to start the festival properly. Craig Charles at Truth on Friday afternoon is also a great place to hang out for a bit if you're between bands.
  9. Cos one of these years, I’ll be right! It’s like the longest breakup ever. I said it in ‘17. Then The Cure pulled me in for ‘19. So I might as well stay around for the big 50th in 2020, right? So when it finally came, last year was definitely IT. But then the thought of watching Elton at home was too much come ticket day… 😂 (Now watch me jib him for Pulp cos I barely knew what a Glastonbury was before seeing their ‘95 set on tv.) I’m trying really very hard indeed not to think about potential T-Swizzle next year.
  10. I’ve gone past paralysing fear to resignation. Now I’m laughing, albeit a little bit hysterically. The clash to end them all (literally, cos it’s my last Glasto) is incoming, lads. I can feel it in me water.
  11. As far as I’m aware, we *think* we know that but we don’t actually know that.
  12. I still have the f@ckin’ Fear about the Sunday night Other headline slot. 😬
  13. Saw this nifty thing and thought of this thread. Might be awesome, might not. I'm not taking a stove or I'd give it a birl. No quibble refund if it's shite. https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/camping-classics/rocktrail-portable-coffee-maker/p60934 Edit: oh yeah, they've got ponchos as well. https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/camping-classics/rocktrail-waterproof-poncho/p60935?ar=11 For sitting on the dry, baked ground, obviously.
  14. It’s an odd one but he possibly requested it to add to his collection of stages he’s played?
  15. I don't suppose they had tomato juice? I've never yet made it over there.
  16. I’m going to have a full toddler tantrum if that happens.
  17. I've not been around much since you were asking where to start with Lizzo. Pleased to see you're onboard.
  18. Pringles and a can of full fat lemonade followed by a Proper Coffee or two once I'm out. Maybe a cereal bar (which I don't eat cos it's fabulous, it's just fuel so I don't end up buying a manky regret burger just cos I've let myself get hangry).
  19. If there's no venue in the middle of WG, it'll just be like the festival version of a shopping mall food court. Edit: Pier is always too busy any time I've been past.
