  1. Cool! Thanks for confirming. Last time I went you could only pay by debit card or like bankers draft. I think I might just whack it all on my Monzo Flex to free up some cash.
  2. Silly question but, can you pay your balance with a credit card?
  3. True, but I'm regretting my ticket purchase for IOW based what is effectively a single act exclusive for me. I mean, they used to have the Foos, Chilis, Kings of Leon. I wholeheartedly agree as well with Victorious. The overall line-up is one of the strongest for me personally this year.
  4. I'm going to both and to be honest, I'm pretty underwhelmed with IOW's selection. I keep looking at the name and thinking "Ah, I saw that at Victorious in 2019, I saw them last year etc". Equally, where I'm going to Glasto as well, the acts I'm mostly interested in like Blondie and Pulp are either a) confirmed or b) pretty confident they'll show up there in some way shape or form.
  5. He's very good live and quite excited by the addition. Overall though, I feel like a lot of this is just Victorious sloppy seconds. I'm off to Glastonbury the week after and fully expecting to get Blondie and Pulp there too.
  6. Yayyyyy! This is the one I was talking about way way back earlier.

    Newbie poll

I've been on here for 10 years, but I've mostly lurked and locked myself out of my other account. 😅 First went to Glastonbury in 2013.... and first time returning. Plenty of festival experiences as you can see. My very first festival was the super waterlogged Glade 2007.
  8. My theragun is coming with. Thankfully in a camper as I wouldn't take camping, but omg the relief that thing brings on tired feet, legs and back.
  9. See, I'm not an outdoorsy person and fresh air always exhausts me. In my younger more hedonistic days, even with "help" I would struggle to stay up past 11pm some nights.
  10. Not a huge fan of Mumford, but even I can agree that's a big get.
  11. Oooh, she would be a good shout.
  12. Haha. He will ditch me in an instant.
  13. LC is my husband's ONLY must see and, well, our eldest daughter's middle name is Lana. Nightmare!
  14. Oh God, this would be a total nightmare.
  15. It really does. There's been some hench lay offs lately across all industries lately. Even today I've had two separate people from two separate companies that I work with tell me that they've been let go today. Feels a bit... 2009-y.
  16. Bin bags. Always take many bin bags. They can help with dirty clothes, offer somewhere to plonk your arse when it's wet and raining, can be fashioned into a makeshift poncho. That and gaffa tape.
  17. Yeah, I saw that 😞 I used to go down there when my eldest was a baby. Nice bit of avocado on toast (although with the open kitche always came out stinking of cooking!)
  18. Petition for Staggeringly Good to get a free stall. https://www.staggeringlygood.com/
  19. Just checking them out and OOOOOH! Excited for these!
  20. Like, I like them. And I'll always be a fan of Isle of Wight bands getting some recognition. However, I can't seem to understand why nobody can hear that they aren't just a repackaged, slightly emo sounding CSS. There's nothing new or innovative about them.
  21. Oh man, The News really continues to go downhill. The picture of McFly for Busted is a total fave. It was excusable when the lovely Arthur used to do the front desk and Dave the Rave subbed, but alas they've retired.
  22. See I absolutely get this, and part of me wonders if it's because of the chaos/utter abuse they got on social media from the car parking. However, trying to get a bus after Victorious is impossible. We always end up trying to leg it to Fratton to get the last train, or heading into Efes and having a kebab while we wait for the taxis to calm down as well.
