  1. Not my proudest moment but I got in an argument with Alice back in the day. I was an absolute dick, but CC were playing the venue I worked at on my birthday and I asked if I could get a free t-shirt... she said I could have a button (a badge)... I was quite drunk. I was a total prick. Sorry, Alice!
  2. I agree. I think with them its Glasto Pyramid or nowt at this point.
  3. https://tastetibet.com/events/ These guys. So, so good. I'll be staking them out immediately, lol
  4. It would have been surprising tbh but I wouldn't have hated it.
  5. Also, the image has DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE written on it... have they dropped the ball there? EDIT: Looks like it may have been a pop up ad
  6. News report on the Potsmouth website that they've axed the glamping extension. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/politics/victorious-festival-glamping-expansion-plan-axed-as-organisers-target-biggest-2023-portsmouth-event-ever-3934555
  7. This year we shared Amy McDonald, Lauran Hibberd.... that's about all I can see. I could be wrong.
  8. Sting would be epic, a lot of those would be epic. George Ezra, Blondie and Gabrielle are at IOW so that would be a no for them.
  9. Schmoyo are absolute MASTERS. Their edit of Charlie Sheen is absolutely legendary.
  10. *waits patiently for the Corn kid and Louis Theroux to be announced*
  11. I'll be a bit irritated if it's Robbie considering I'm going to IOW the week beforehand and bar Pulp and Blondie, for me the line-up is a little underwhelming/a lot of stuff I've seen before. However, I'm going with someone else so we can watch Robbie there and that'll free me up to go and watch something else during the Legends Slot.
  12. Normally I'm a bit mehhhh about newer acts, but I really, really like The Weeknd. A lot of his songs really get under my skin and I find myself dancing around like a teenager.
  13. I have no upvotes left but THIS 100000% lol
  14. Buzzing. My husband managed to get himself some new walking boots. No mean feat with size 15 feet!

My kids would lap this up
  16. Better than bloody MGMT, that's for sure!!!
  17. I saw them when they played Bestival in 2009 and while I knew them a bit, it's one of my fave ever festival performances.

Here's mine. To be fair, some of these seem feasible and others I'm definitely seeing next year (or saw last year) anyway. EDIT: I would 100% take Aqua if they played, but in my defence my kids like playing Barbie Girl over and over again on Alexa. LOL
  19. We saw a local promoter who gets a bit involved with the festival at another event on Saturday. Someone I know asked him directly if they know who was headlining and he basically said, he only finds out the day before.
  20. I actually booked it based on a thread on here. There's a map and stuff. Basically it's by.. the orange car park. I think a few quid for a shower and flushing loos. The general concensus seems to be 10/15 walk on a dry day.
  21. I know there isn't a pattern but.... does anybody know announcement dates and how they correlate to accommodation sale? 😅
