Knew there was a reason I kept putting off buying my train ticket. Even though it's not directly impacted, surely Wednesday morning travel will be absolutely horrific with this.

Good to know, definitely wouldn't have expected it to be a thing as they're always sold at the festivals I've been to. Last thing we'd want to do as first timers is piss off the people around us, so we'll endure the rain if we have to.

Luckily just had a look on the Glasto website before one of our group was about to buy a gazebo! Had no idea this was a thing.

Currently looks like we're getting the train (pending any strikes). Ideal world would be driving so we could leave it in the car and take a second trip after bringing in the main supplies, but I believe there's going to be one too many of us for that. Done some pretty heroic efforts in the past, only once being beaten (lost a crate) in a scorching hot Isle of Wight in 2014! I definitely don't mind making the most of the bars at times, but it does feel a little silly given this is the first festival I'd have attended where you can bring your own alcohol anywhere.

Ha, hadn’t even considered this stuff. I was (seemingly optimistically) assuming there’d be a supermarket nearby we could stroll to after setting up camp. I think I’ll decant some spirits into plastic bottles and see if we can manage two crates each on the walk in. Anything other than that, it’ll be bars!

Arrived yesterday! Don't think it's sunk in yet that it's actually happening.

As a Glastonbury newcomer and likely underestimating the size compared to the festivals I've been to, what are the chances of me managing to get from a Pyramid sub-headiner (Fender) to Other headliner (Foals), assuming the goal would be to be a decent way into the crowd for both?

Apologies for the laziness but had a quick Google and couldn’t see anything. Does this stage run in the early AM? Or do the headliners run in parallel with the normal stages?

Please forgive my absolute laziness in asking this question but roughly what percentage of Pyramid/Other/John Peel do we think is complete with that poster? I seem to recall West Holts & The Park having their own announcements, so would assume the majority of the former three stages are filled with this first set?
