    How do you feel?

Thanks hopefully getting there but my poorly dog is definitely doing her best to cause us maximum stress. After a difficult couple of weeks we have found her another specialist who may be able to help. Unfortunately out of insurance until the new year so the £1000 bill for the initial consultation and scan is a hit we were hoping we wouldn't have to take (as well as the cost of getting up there, accommodation etc) Just as well she's cute right! It was her 7th birthday yesterday so we did a big celebration for her.
  2. In these new rules can I take your 2!! Little Simz for the win for certain though!
  3. Liz Lawrence has released a new album??? How on earth have I managed to miss that?? This is a tough month apart from my number 1 choice which is obvious.
  4. If it's any consolation if there was one to miss for me 2016 would have been the one I'd choose. I started going in 2010 and since then 2011 is the only one I missed and I hated missing it. Like you I currently don't have one for next year and will be trying in the re-sale. A lot of people complaining about them not honouring the 2020 price so hopefully they'll all be giving up their tickets in protest!!

    How do you feel?

Yep it seems weird regardless of vaccine status. I guess some people just must have natural immunity whether through sheer luck or perhaps having had a flu virus or something that was similar enough to it to have acquired the immunity. My friend caught it from his daughter just after Christmas last year and was very worried about his wife and other child getting it as his wife has quite bad asthma but despite her daughter kissing her etc before she knew she had it his wife never caught it. Glad the funeral went well and is out of the way so to speak. The real healing from it all can begin now.

    Ticket Price

Seen a lot of people complaining about the price not remaining the same on Facebook so I am hoping that the price increase does put a few people off. We're definitely not going to be far from not have much change from £300. I expect food prices to go up significantly as well if my New Order £11 for small portion of Mac and Cheese experience is anything to go by. Brexit will have an impact as well.
  7. Made up for her that she is getting the recognition she deserves.
  8. First went in 2010. Missed out on tickets in 2011 and made sure that never happened again until last ticket sale day. Trying in the resale but not sure how I'll cope in June if I'm not there.
  9. Hopefully the drama would be short lived because it would work, people are meant to keep their ticket on them at all times anyway and yes I'd be more than happy not to see the type of people who do it at the festival.
  10. Make it a lifetime ban. There's no need for it whatsoever and the festival can happily survive without people who do it.
  11. It actually started at Broadmoor and was not on normal concourse exercise and was reserved for people likely to be beaten up ie paedos/ rapists.
  12. I have just found out the origins of the word nonce recently. Do you know where the term comes from?
  13. Yes during the first lockdown a lot of people bought turntables and I saw a couple of threads on Twitter of what classic albums should I buy. Everytime I replied and said with the greatest of respect David Bowie no longer needs your money but there are artists who during lockdown you buying their album might be the difference between them being able to continue being an artist or having to get a job as a delivery driver, support those instead. I won't say I never buy older albums but it's definitely rarer for me and usually because they a bargain. The past is a nice place to visit occasionally but we really shouldn't want to live there.

    How do you feel?

Sorry no tips as I haven't been there and done that but I find that we are better at dealing with tiredness etc than we ever believe we will be. On the money worries front don't buy even half the things that people tell you you need. You will find that local selling groups and even freecycling groups will be full of a lot of the things you want and cost next to nothing. Babies are easily amused just pulling funny faces is enough to entertain them. Don't get yourself in debt to buy anything that isn't essential. Sorry to hear this. I hope your friend will be absolutely fine and that the funeral passes as peacefully and as uneventfully as possible.
  15. This is relevant although been around a while so just remember just a song!
  16. Yep nothing wrong with loving the music of your youth and re-visiting it occasionally but people who say they don't make music like this any more and their ilk boil my piss!!
  17. Low always put weird sounds on their albums that make my dogs bark so I can't actually listen to them so they automatically exclude themselves from any prizes that I can offer. 😄
  18. Lots of good stuff today. A good release day. Nothing that will beat Little Simz for album of the month but she had that in the bag before it was even released.
  19. Love the title it's gone on my playlist for today for that alone.
  20. Acually no that one wasn't her but it was very good. I think this could be a good series.
  21. Ok there's a chance this could happen based on the first task.
  22. I suspect there may be one in March if it reduces the amount of vat needed to be paid. I hope it is the end of March personally.
  23. Yes hopefully they need a couple of weeks and we'll be back home.
  24. Shit what does this mean for re-sale. I'm on holiday for the 2nd week of March (in the UK but no doubt with rubbish internet a it's the middle of nowhere) I deliberately booked March and not April so that I would be at home with all our trusty equipment for re-sale day!!
