  1. Friend’s ticket procured at 9.01 30 secs Flabbergasted
  2. Can’t say for sure after the enforced break, but previous years, it’s been here…
  3. Absolutely nothing different to previous sales where we really struggled; multiple devices, one browser per device, split between wifi or tethered to phone where in same location. Just seemed so much easier to get to booking page. Could be luck of course, but I’m hoping there’s some real difference this time round that will benefit dedicated e-festers. 🙂
  4. Resale crew! We had at least 5 people trying for one group of two in the coach sale. 4 got through to the booking page, I got through twice. We had people sitting on the booking page to back up the first person through in case their page crashed. In past years we have struggled to get just one person through to booking. I don’t know what this means (more sessions available, less people trying) but it’s an unprecedented level of success for us. Truly surprising. I’m hoping this is a positive for every one trying Sunday. Have faith, dear friends.

  6. Well that was fecking traumatic. Trying for Mrs Moth only, the other person in the group of 2 backed out because they got RHCP tickets (I know, right? Who dafuq does that?) Got through in 5 minutes to payment screen. Entered card I used to pay my balance with no problem. “We’ve sent your phone a verification code”… never came through (did instantly last time), wait, refresh, resend…. Nada. Timer ran out 😱 Meanwhile Mrs Moth got to the booking screen and was sitting on it. As soon as my attempt failed she was on to it “an attempt is already in progress” aaaargh. Stayed like this another 5 mins or so, then it went through, we got “no tickets available” aaaargh’ ”What now” said the wife. “Keep refreshing til it says sold out” I yelled. “Your ticket came free again, maybe another will!” By a miracle got through to payment screen again, entered the back up credit card! “BOOKING FUCKING COMPLETE”. Mrs Moth is in… Now you might think that would end the drama, but no. At no point did we see an option to add an extra seat for mini moth 😱 We’ve emailed SEE per the confirmation email, and now we wait…

  8. I wouldn’t worry about someone ending up with a solo ticket . If it’s an issue they can still cancel it up to last week in May (less an admin fee). 1 ticket less for everyone else to try for, mind you.

  11. Current edition of ‘Last Week Tonight…’ is about ticket pricing and the shitty industry practices. Spoiler… Ticketmaster are evil.
  12. Did a half marathon Sunday. Tiny stone got in my shoe at the heel, got it out quickly but still ended up with the biggest blister I’ve ever had 😫
